A Trilogia das Barcas is a series of one-act dramatic plays with allegorical characters by Portuguese playwright and poet Gil Vicente.[1] Specialists classify them as morality plays even though they resemble more closely farces. They give a glimpse of the Lisboan society in the early 16th century.
