Hakan Fidan is a Turkish soldier, academician, bureaucrat and diplomat serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs since June 2023. A member of the AK Party, he previously served as the director of the National Intelligence Organization from 2010 to 2023. Fidan is seen as a possible successor as leader of the AK Party and Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.[1]
